He stresses that great leaders must possess the ability to consistently generate value and address customer problems through providing clarity to unpredictable and ambiguous situations, generating energy and enthusiasm within their team, and continuing to reach successes in any circumstance. Furthermore, successful organizations need to be agile and be able to analyze and adapt to the environment for long-term success.
